Chiss Protocol ships full FX dApp on Avalanche & consolidates into Finna.
After completing development of a decentralized FX settlement protocol live on Fuji testnet, the founding team rolls the infrastructure, investment, and team into Finna Protocol, where the thesis is already being proven at scale.
Chiss Protocol has completed development of its decentralized FX settlement infrastructure and is live on Fuji, the Avalanche testnet. The protocol supports three fully functional flows: FX-collateralized loans, real-time cross-currency stablecoin swaps with bank account off-ramp, and liquidity provision across stability and FX pools. With the core infrastructure validated, the founding team has made a deliberate strategic decision to consolidate all development, capital, and operations under Finna Protocol Inc.
The Chiss dApp, accessible at app-dev.chissprotocol.io, represents a complete product implementation on Avalanche Fuji. Users can collateralize mUSDC to borrow local FX stablecoins including chNGN, chTRY, and chJPY, with a live risk engine, adjustable loan-to-value ratios, and real liquidation thresholds. The FX market module allows instant swaps between local stablecoins with real-time exchange rates, automatic off-ramp routing to bank accounts, and multi-facilitator settlement. Liquidity providers can supply to both stability and FX pools, with single-sided supply support and on-chain LP positions earning active yield.
The connection between Chiss and Finna was already operational before the consolidation decision. Inside the Chiss swap interface, Finna appears as a named off-ramp facilitator, handling last-mile settlement from stablecoins to local bank accounts. The two products were not parallel bets: they were already functioning as a single system, with Chiss providing the on-chain settlement layer and Finna handling the regulated off-ramp.
The consolidation reflects a deliberate founder decision about focus, not a change of direction. Scaling a standalone settlement protocol while simultaneously building and proving the product layer above it requires running two fundraising stories, two go-to-market motions, and two product surfaces at the same time. Consolidating into Finna eliminates that split and puts the full weight of the team, capital, and Avalanche relationship behind the vehicle that is already live with real users and growing volume.
The Avalanche Blizzard Fund investment backing Chiss rolls directly into Finna as part of the consolidation. The Avalanche technical relationship continues through Finna’s infrastructure layer. The Chiss codebase remains accessible as a reference implementation of decentralized FX settlement on Avalanche.
“We built what we set out to build. The dApp works. The infrastructure is sound. The smarter move was to stop running two vehicles and put everything behind the one that is already in market and growing. Finna is where the Chiss thesis gets proven at scale.”
